Behavioral Health Care for St. Matthews

St. Matthews sits on the other side of the Watterson from us, which makes the drive unusually simple: it is essentially one highway, one exit. Patients coming from the Shelbyville Road and Breckenridge Lane area regularly tell us it is faster than they expected.

A suburban shopping street lined with low storefronts and young trees in late afternoon light.

Getting here from St. Matthews

Distance: About 8 miles · Typical drive: 15–20 minutes outside of rush hour

  • From Shelbyville Road, get on the Watterson Expressway (I-264) heading south and west.
  • Stay on I-264 past Bardstown Road and take the Newburg Road exit.
  • Turn south on Newburg Road; the office is a short distance down on your right.
  • Coming down Breckenridge Lane instead avoids the interstate entirely and takes about the same time in light traffic.

In person or by video?

At this distance in-person visits are practical, including TMS. Telehealth is a convenience option for medication follow-ups when you would rather not sit in Watterson traffic.
